Dr Dale spent over two decades in the Middle East working in education and ethnography, including publishing a study on the Muslim women’s mosque movement, Shifting Allegiances. She has taught courses on Islam and cross-cultural anthropology at seminaries and universities in Australia and the USA. Dr Dale is co-founder of the When Women Speak… network, which equips those engaging with Muslim women through conferences, publications and online courses. She writes, teaches, trains and supervises students in Islam and cross-cultural understanding, with a focus on Muslim women. She holds doctorates in theology and education.
