Dr Dale spent over two decades in the Middle East working in education and ethnography, including publishing a study on the Muslim women’s mosque movement, Shifting Allegiances. She has taught courses on Islam and cross-cultural anthropology at seminaries and universities in Australia and the USA. Dr Dale is co-founder of the When Women Speak… network, which equips those engaging with Muslim women through conferences, publications and online courses. She wrote, taught, trained and supervised students in Islam and cross-cultural understanding, with a focus on Muslim women. She held doctorates in theology and education.
Dr Dale passed away on the 3rd August 2022. We grieve her loss.
